Cookies

Some of the pages on our website use cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and they do not contain viruses. We use cookies to help us make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files that are downloaded onto your computer and stored by your browser.

We mostly use session cookies, which are automatically deleted once you have left our website. Other cookies will be stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser the next time you visit the website.

You can adjust the settings on your browser so that you are notified about cookies being stored. You have the option to only allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, to accept cookies in certain cases, to not allow cookies as a general rule or to set your device to automatically delete cookies whenever you close your browser. Please note that if you deactivate cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of the full functionality of this website.

Cookies that are required for electronic communications or the provision of specific functions requested by you are stored on the basis of Art 6(1), point (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies in order to ensure that their services are provided optimally and without any technical issues. In the event that other cookies (e.g. cookies used to analyse your browsing behaviour) are stored, these will be covered separately in this privacy statement.

Third-party services

Our website uses content and services provided by third parties to allow us to display everything properly and to analyse user behaviour with a view to optimising our website. (Legal basis: Art. 6(1), point (f) GDPR). If you use one of these services or if third-party content is displayed to you, data has to be exchanged between you and the relevant provider for technical reasons. It might also be the case that the provider of the relevant services or content may process your data for their own purposes beyond this. As we do not have any control over data collected and processed by third parties, we cannot make a binding statement in relation to the purpose and extent of the processing of your data.

This website uses functions offered by the Google Analytics web analytics service provided by: Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

IP Anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that Google will anonymise your IP address within Member States of the European Union and in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting information to the USA. In exceptional cases only, the full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and anonymised there. Google will use this information on behalf of the website operator for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to usage of the website and the internet for the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.
